About this Quiz
Introduction
Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) proposes to conduct a ‘PMFBY Quiz’ competition through MyGov from 21st June to 21st August 2021 with an aim to create an awareness amongst citizens about the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), launched on 18 February 2016 by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi.
PMFBY is an insurance service for farmers for their yields and aims to provide a comprehensive insurance cover against failure of the crop thus helping in stabilizing the income of the farmers. PMFBY covers all Food & Oilseeds crops and Annual Commercial/Horticultural Crops. To know more about this scheme, participate in the quiz.
Objective of the competition
To create a platform for Citizens and family members of PMFBY beneficiaries where they can explore, learn and are well informed about the scheme through a quiz competition.
Topic and Brief
The quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. English and Hindi.
Participant may read material available on the website i.e. https://pmfby.gov.in/ wherein schemes, initiatives, updates and activities are available.
After thoroughly understanding PMFBY scheme, participants may take part in the quiz competition.
Participants can view their score after the last date of the quiz.
Eligibility
Any Citizen, PMFBY beneficiary OR his/her family member may participate.
Awards & Recognition
All participants shall be issued a certificate of participation.
Top 3 winners will be rewarded with a Prize Money from MoA&FW.
1st
Prize money – Rs. 11,000/-
2nd
Prize money – Rs.5,000/- and
3rd Prize money – Rs 3,100/-
